-40% of 40-59 year olds report sleep deprivation
-35.3% adults report less than 7 hours of sleep a night

Adults: Usual need for sleep is 7-9 hours
Teenagers: 8-10 hours
Children (ages 6-12): 9-12 hours
Children (ages 3-5): 10-13 hours

Most of us just don’t get enough sleep. It’s either hard to fall asleep or we fall asleep easily and then wake up several times during the night and have difficulty falling back to sleep. This affects all aspects of our functioning which can include: poor concentration, tiredness during the day, impatience, falling asleep behind the wheel, work related accidents and health issues. Many doctors have referred their patients to me for sleep and the number is growing. Don’t wait until your health becomes affected by a lack of sleep.
